The purpose of this study is to explore sustainability practices across the world in order to apply to
Kingston, Ontario for people ages 18-30 years old that care about the state of the environment.
Shown above is the design process in action. A task flow was developed to show all interactions a user may have within the app. Low fidelity wireframes were also made to demonstrate the functionality and information architecture of the mobile app before a higher fidelity product can be made.
The colour-scheme was designed with Loblaws company colours in mind, with a twist to
become more visually appealing to the target audience.
I narrowed the scope to an app that helps grocery shopping be more sustainable.
Much of my research leading to the conclusion that consumers want to be rewarded for
good behaviour, I created an app that does exactly what the participant suggested.
